-1 medium onion
-1 lb ground turkey or beef
-2 (15 oz) cans tomato sauce
-1 (24 oz) can diced tomatoes
-1 tomato paste
-2-3 cans kidney beans
-4 Tablespoons chili powder
-3/4-1 cup brown sugar
In a skillet, sauté onion and ground beef/turkey. Drain fat.
In a stock pot, combine all ingredients and 3 tomato paste cans full of water. Mix well.
Cook for 20 minutes on 3 or 4 heat. Stir occasionally.
For very sweet chili skip adding the chili powder.
For a sweet and spicy chili add more chili powder to your liking.
